Repeat Prescriptions
If your long-term medication is on repeat prescription you will have a repeat card for re-ordering. This should be delivered to the surgery with the required items clearly marked.
Alternatively you can order online by following the link at the top of this page and completing a simple registration.
We cannot accept requests on the telephone
Dispensing
For Bridge Health Centre and Ethelbert Road patients, dispensing facilities are available at any local Pharmacy, some of which offer a delivery service.
Littlebourne Surgery patients living more than 1.6 km from a chemist can be supplied with medication direct from littlebourne dispensary. For more information on this service, please click here.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see or speak with a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
Please only order the medicines/appliances that you need
- Check what medicines you still have at home before re-ordering
- Please let your GP or Pharmacist know if you’ve stopped taking any of your medicines
- If you need to go into hospital, please remember to take all your medicines with you in a clearly marked bag.
- Please also remember that your medicines are prescribed only for you; it’s not safe to share them with anyone else
