About the NHS App

The NHS App allows you to access a range of NHS services. You can download the NHS App on your phone or tablet. You can also access the same services in a web browser by logging in through the NHS website.

Who can use the NHS App

You must be aged 13 or over to use the NHS App. You also need to be registered with a GP surgery in England or the Isle of Man. Find out more about who can use the NHS App.

What you can do with the NHS App

The following services are available to all registered patients:

  • Book / Cancel Appointments*
  • Order Repeat Prescriptions
  • View Medical Records
  • Update Address Details
  • Register to be an organ donor
  • Check your symptoms

Signing Up to the NHS App

Currently it is only possible to book nurse appointments via the NHS App. If you require a different appointment, please contact the surgery.

Non-urgent advice: Update

Patients that succesfully register for the use of the NHS App will now by default be able to view their prospective record from the date their account goes live at the practice.

Patients with pre-existing online access accounts at the surgery will be able to see all their records from the 1st of November 2023 onwards.

Digital Hubs, run by Kent County Council’s Digital Kent, offer free, friendly support to help you get more confident online.

Whether it’s setting up a new device, using the NHS App, or staying safe online, trained volunteers are available at local hubs across Kent for bookable 30-minute sessions.

These sessions aren’t run by us, but we’re happy to recommend them as a great way to get help with:

  • Emails and apps
  • Online shopping and scam awareness
  • Keeping in touch with loved ones
  • Finding jobs and hobbies online
